Short version: we store the handle you bid for, the tagline you wrote and the amount you paid. Stripe handles the payment. Plausible counts visits without cookies. That is the whole picture.
What we store
- Your Threads handle — shown publicly on the leaderboard.
- Your tagline, if you wrote one — also shown publicly.
- The amount and time of each bid, plus the Stripe session reference.
We do not ask for your name, and we do not set any advertising or tracking cookies.
Payments
Card payments go through Stripe, which collects your payment details and, depending on your payment method, your email and billing address. Those details go to Stripe, not to us. We receive only a confirmation that a payment settled, its amount, and the handle it was for.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first, EU-hosted analytics service. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track you across sites. It tells us how many people visited a page and roughly where in the world they were.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes standard server logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.
Your choices
Your entry is public by design. To have your handle and tagline removed from the board, email hello@threadsrank.com. Removal does not refund bids already placed. We keep the payment record itself for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
